Apa itu DraftSight?

Banyak pertanyaan beredar mengenai apa itu DraftSight. DraftSight adalah sebuah program 2D CAD System gratis buatan Dassault Systemes yang pada dasarnya dibuat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan para profesional CAD, pelajar, dan pengajar yang ingin membuka, mengolah, bahkan membuat file DWG yang kompatibel dengan aplikasi CAD umum seperti program AutoCAD buatan perusahaan Autodesk.

Aplikasi DraftSight ini dapat berjalan di 3 sistem operasi yaitu Windows (Microsoft® Windows XP®, Windows Vista®, Windows® 7), Mac®, dan Linux® (Ubuntu®, Fedora®, Suse®, and Mandriva®). Dengan ukuran file yang relatif kecil (sekitar 68,2 MB untuk versi di Windows®) tentu kita tidak akan susah untuk mendownload dan memasangnya di komputer.
